How to choose the best graduation package for you
Many photographers offer different packages, but how do you know which one is the best for you? The last thing you want is to regret choosing a package because you felt you didn’t have enough time or variety of locations.
Speaking for myself, I divide my packages for graduation photos at UIUC by time. Based on my experience, I’ve learned how many locations we can realistically cover within the most popular session lengths requested by graduates.
When planning your graduation photos at UIUC, choosing the right session length will help you get the most variety of locations around campus.
So how do you know which one is right for you?
30-Minute Session ( Bronze)
If you have a limited budget but don’t want to miss the opportunity to have graduation photos, the 30-minute package is ideal for you. We’ll focus on one location, but don’t worry,I’ll help you make the most of the spot and everything around it.
That said, it’s helpful to have a clear idea of the style or inspiration you’re looking for, since with 30 minutes we won’t have much time for second guessing. If you want help choosing the right aesthetic or setting, check out my blog post: How to Choose the Best Graduation Spot.
Tho photos bellow are an example of the photos we can get with only 30 min and 1 location!
1-Hour Session (Silver)
This is my most popular package. With one hour, we can usually cover up to two different locations. In practical terms, this means we can walk to a nearby area that feels completely different and gives you more variety in your photos.
Here you will get 30 photos, which gives you a lot of different results. Some close ups, some portraits, some more elegant traditional or some fun and spontaneous. You can really get a little bit of everything with this package.
2-Hour Session
This is the most complete package. With two hours, we have plenty of time to be creative, try different poses, change outfits, explore multiple areas, and even visit many of the iconic spots on campus if we plan strategically and the locations aren’t too crowded.
This package also includes photos with up to three family members or friends. If you have family visiting from far away, this is a wonderful option to capture photos with them while still having plenty of time for individual portraits.
If you want something more unique and private, I recommend this package because is the only one in which I offer the opportunity to visit a far location like Allerton Park & Retreat Center
Group Sessions
I highly recommend group sessions if you want to share the experience with friends. Taking photos together with your closest friends on campus, especially when you’re all graduating at the same time, is something really special.
Keep in mind that group sessions are best for people who are happy to share the time. Individual moments will be shorter, but the energy is amazing. It’s fun, supportive, and beautiful to cheer each other on while everyone takes their photos.
Now that you know a little bit more about the packages, why they are divided and priced, are your ready to book? If so click on the bottom bellow, I will be happy to receive your inquire.
